Sweet 17!

Heyy y'all! July has been quite the month for me! We kicked off the month on July 2nd, releasing my 3rd album, "Death To Love" which so far you guys seem to be loving the album and im so glad, I put a lot of work into it and its my best so far, and my favourite! Looking forward to release some more music soon!

Literally 24 hours after releasing this album, I turned 17! And that was the plan all along, I wanted Death To Love to be the record I made at 16, as well I started it on my 16th bday with Regret and finished it properly in June! I recorded so much for that album, I mean the CD was jam packed with bonuses, and that had some cut! Today I've actually been working on what was originally gonna be the 11th track, and turning it into some cool sytnhpop song, in the style of Ricky Jamaraz's Project "Sweat Glass Halo" where the are no guitars, just vocals, drums, bass and synths! I think the song I wrote worked really well with the style rather than its original DTL sound with the heavy guitars. I haven't finished it as of writing this so I cant give too much on it, but Im working on quite a few songs atm, next blog post I'll go indepth into them all!

Next up, on the 17th we had Knutmo Five playing there first hometown gig!! The set they played was amazing and props to the sound guy for the awesome mix, combined with the playing the gig sounded super tight and well sorted out, so well done lads! (also wanna thank you all for waiting with me for my uber home, sorry I was a bit of a noisanse with get home, sorry x) Also I see Knutmo Five has a new line up and im excited to see them play!

Lets cut to July 23rd, the main highlight! I played my first solo gig ever! And it was something else hahaha, honestly loved doing it even if I was nervous and they all seemed to enjoy it! I actually wanna continue doing gigs, but as a band, not just me and a guitar, I feel my songs dont work aswell live solo sadly but hey! Atleast it went well! I did plan to release the recording of the 7 songs I played, and honestly I'm still on the fence about doing so, on one hand its a cool relic to release and share, and the other hand, I'd rather wait till I have done a full band gig and recorded that, as its more enjoyable to listen to than just me and an acoustic guitar. Anyways I'm rambling now and I wanna keep this short, next month I'll likely do two posts one about this new project I'm working on, and then the end of month overview as normal! BYEEEE!
